This folder contains a record of the 49th annual meeting of the Department of Colorado and Wyoming, G.A.R., held at the W.O.W. Hall in Boulder, Colo., 19-21 June 1928. Photos of departmental leaders are interspersed in the text. An index of contents is on page 89 of this 91 page booklet. Also in this folder are two copies of the 8 page official program for the encampment.

In 1866, Union veterans of the Civil War organized into the Grand Army of the Republic (GAR), which existed until 1956.
